Last week, Knoxville artists Lamont and Ukamea dropped their much anticipated collaboration album "There Are Werewolves" with features from FKY9, xoxoTREVANN, and Bombay Beck.
There has been a lot of hype built up to this release, especially with the lead single "Lycan Life" coming out a few weeks before the drop of the project. You can stream "There Are Werewolves" on Spotify here.
We sat down with Lamont to talk about his opinions on the album and what's next on the agenda for the Knoxville rapper.

Would you say that There Are Werewolves is your best project/album yet?
Lamont: Yes , I feel as an artist I should always be improving so I'll always feel that way .. whatever my last song is that's my best to me.
What inspired the records on this album and why did you choose Ukamea to partner up with?
Lamont: Everything was inspired by the idea of transforming into a much darker version of ourselves, wolves & we decided to collaborate because it was only right.
What is your favorite track from this album and why?
Lamont: Howlin', I feel it's the purest , it was also the first one we did for the album so it almost has a feel of effortlessness to it , even though I did my verse like 7 times.
And lastly, what are your next plans coming from this album drop; any big moves in 2018?
Lamont: My plan is just to keep working , Loud Music 4 is this summer so I'm focused on that at the moment.
