SOME OF KNOXVILLE'S BEST ARTISTS RIGHT NOW

By far the Sunsphere city is one of the hardest to make it out of as a rapper, musician, or really anything else. What the rest of the world doesn't know is that there is actually so much talent sprawling out of this Tennessee metropolis that lies a few hours east of Nashville.
Some may look at this city as nothing special, but to those who live there or relatively close, the city holds a different meaning.
Just a quick disclaimer: there is a lot more talent and artists, etc. coming out of this city besides the few listed below. This is just the beginning of an article series about the hottest coming out of Knox.
#1: UKAMEA
This 865 star is probably one of my favorites coming out of Knoxville right now. Eddie "Ukamea" is signed to Born Rare Records and just recently released his new album, "The Masquerade" which you can stream here. With one of the most talented singing voices and equally impressive rapping, Eddie is truly putting on for the 865.
#2: FKY9
I couldn't have written this article without mentioning the homie FKY9. He's one of the first Knox artists I started working with, and he has such a unique perspective on the music scene which translates perfectly into his songs. The Flight Crew rapper has been releasing singles on his Soundcloud for the past few months (stream one of his newest here) but is in the works of much bigger things which are coming soon. You gotta give his work a listen, I promise you won't regret it.
#3: Legendary $ilk
No doubt another fresh rap talent coming out of Knoxville/Georgia is a rapper by the name of Legendary $ilk. I first met him at a concert and have been keeping up with his music since, and he has that very style that's going to make him go viral soon. Peep some of his work a listen here.
#4: Boobie Cambridge
Another emerging rapper from the East Tennessee scene is Boobie Cambridge. It's one thing to listen to his music, but it's another thing to get to know him and be around him and his energy. One of my favorite rappers to work with, this man is on the verge of the come up, and his newest single release "Cardiac Arrest" falls nothing short of that. You can stream the track here. Also, You might know him from his viral Knoxville hit "Medusa".
#5: xoxoTREVANN
Underrated would be an understatement for this insanely vocally talented artist from Oak Ridge. Trevan's latest work will have you wondering how he hasn't exploded with popularity yet, so go and stream it here! If you have Trevan on Snapchat, then you know that besides having a unique style, he has been grinding lately on some dope unreleased music that is coming soon. Trevan and I will be working on a video for his song Graaveside soon, so be on the lookout for that.
#6: Bombay Beck
If you're not familiar with Beck, then I highly suggest you stream his music here. He just released a hot new single last week and doesn't plan on stopping anytime soon. His dedication and ruthless perseverance in the 865 music scene can't be overlooked, so go give Bombay Beck the support he deserves.

Again, there is so much more talent bursting out of this city that I promise I will get around to covering ASAP.
