CAPTAIN 865 RELEASES NEW ALBUM "WICKED REALITY"

Last week, the talented Knoxville-based rapper Captain 865 dropped his heavily awaited album, "Wicked Reality"including producer credits from Beatz Era, Cash Money AP and more. Wicked Reality includes features from Lamont, FKY9, and some more 865 artists.
Today Captain is making his The Scene debut with a written interview about Wicked Reality and his plans going forward from here.
Do you think this is your best album/project to date?
Captain: I would definitely say this is my strongest project I have up to date. It took lots of hard work and effort but It definitely payed off and I’m very pleased with the outcome
Who was your favorite feature on this project?
Captain: That’s a tough one because I feel like all the featured artists did over and above what was expected. It’s too difficult to chose a favorite so I’m going to have to let the fans decide that one.
What was your favorite song from the album, and why?
Captain: My favorite record on the project would have to be “Wicked Reality”. It focuses on the spiritual battles us humans face on a day to day basis and speaks on personal experiences I’ve had with evil spirits in the past. I think it’s very important for people to realize that demons are real. Wether it be inner demons (sins) you may battle with, addictions you can't seem to overcome, or actual people you may know that are physically possessed. I think lots of times people are just blind to the evil that surrounds us in this world we live in. That being said I wanted to make a song that people going through those type struggles could listen to and find some kind of comfort knowing they aren’t the only ones that have gone through something like that.
What are your plans as of going forward from here?
Captain: I plan to keep putting out new music and do more live shows. Right now I’m just building up my fan base and putting together my Pirate Music team. Being 18 I know I still got a lot of years ahead of me but I plan to use my age to my advantage and just keep working to improve my skills each day.
